BMI (Body Mass Index) is a simple calculation used to assess whether a person has a healthy body weight based on height and weight.
The formula for BMI is: BMI = weight (kg) / height² (m²).
A BMI below 18.5 is considered underweight, 18.5–24.9 is normal, 25–29.9 is overweight, and 30+ is obese.
For example, if your weight is 70 kg and height is 1.7 m, your BMI will be 24.2, which is considered normal.
